The Murray Pioneer

The Murray Pioneer is a bi-weekly newspaper covering the Riverland irrigated fruit growing areas of South Australia, extending from the Victorian border to south of Blanchetown, as well as the Northern Murray and Murray Mallee farming districts. Three quarters of the papers printed each week, however, are sold within the confines of the Riverland irrigation areas.

The Murray Pioneer is the parent company for a group of companies which includes several newspapers and a commercial printing company, JC Irving, of Berri. The other papers, The Loxton News and The River News circulate in the Loxton and Waikerie areas which are also part of the circulation areas of The Murray Pioneer. The Murray Pioneer is printed twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and The Loxton News and River News are published weekly, on Wednesdays. The Murray Pioneer’s other sister newspapers are located in Gawler (The Bunyip), Pinnaroo (The Border Times) and Burra (The Mid North Broadcaster). - www.murray-pioneer.com.au

We've been with APS for many years and know the team well. They're great to work with and their support is excellent. We're all out to improve our systems and grow the bottom line and APS software does exactly this. Their products enable fewer staff to do more. They're constantly developing their software and they obviously know what we need as they keep producing. When I see other newspapers of similar size with many more staff I know our decisions to utilise APS software are justified.
